Happy Spring!

I hope everyone had a pleasant winter. It came and went in a hurry and now I am looking forward to enjoying sunshine and warm weather at farmers markets and outdoor shows. I have been hard at work in my lake-side studio making lots of fun new things.

I am excited to announce my April and May events!

The first one is the University Mall Spring Craft Show at the U Mall in South Burlington. It is happening on Saturday, April 14th from 9:30 am to 5 pm. There will be over 60 unique and local crafters. The crafts will be split into two sections throughout the mall, so be sure to cover the whole entire thing while you are there.

I will be at the Queen City Craft Bazaar on Saturday, May 12 from 10 am to 6 pm. I have done this show for many years now but there will be loads of new vendors to check out. Find me at the bottom of the stairs. There is free parking in the lot next to the building. Come check out Vermont’s only indie craft fair! So much fun!!!

I will also be participating in the Lake Champlain Bridge Celebration happening on Saturday, May 19th and Sunday, May 20th. The hours are 10 am to 6 pm both days. If you haven’t seen the new bridge in person yet, this is the weekend to do it! There will be all sorts events going to to celebrate including crafts, music, food, a race, a vintage car show, a parade and much more!

I am still working on my schedule for the rest of the year so please check back often and then come visit me at an event.

As always, my work can be found at fine galleries all over Vermont and a few beyond. Please support all of the local gallery owners, cooperatives, and artisans who sell their work at these venues!

In other news, the Brandon Artists Guild‘s fundraising theme for 2012 will be ‘What’s Hatching in Brandon?’ Beginning on Friday, May 25th, you will see the town decked out with all kinds of chicken, rooster, and egg art! I just finished my project and I am so excited about it!
